데몬 걸 Demon Girl

I have actually been busy doing a chapter for a "tips and techniques" for Zbrush. This is one of the images, as well as a few from here that will be in the book. But more on that soon! This lady has been 3D printed, by the awesome guys at ownage and is awaiting painting! So I will post the photo's when she's done.

Hi everyone.
I have finally got everything sorted with this figure. At the moment, she is travelling with Paul Tobin under White Cloud Worlds to the BLOOOM art festival in Germany. Very excited to see her go! I will be selling this painted version of her there and am also doing a limited run of 15 at the moment. I might do another run of similar numbers if it goes well but that will be it afterwards. So she will be a limited run. Please see the "For Sale" section of the blog for more information, or contact me by e mail if you're interested in purchasing a copy. The copies for sale require assembly, and come in a clear grey resin for you to paint any colour you wish :)

A while ago (actually a long time ago now, let’s be honest) Moragot Bodharamik commissioned me to paint this glorious, creepy, sculpture by the talented Andrew Baker. Modelled in zBrush, it was then 3D printed for a limited edition run. A life-size version was also made out of bronze and is really something to see! Check out Andrew’s blog here.

My boss, Sir Richard Taylor has been an amazing support and bought a copy of my sculpt and decided to mill it out lifesize and turn into a figure for his sculpture park to be released!  I was hugely honoured and you couldn't ask for more as an artist to have something you created turn into something like this.  It was milled 1/1 from my zbrush file, then refined by some of the artists at Fred Tangs studio in China, and these are the progress shots!
