I am finally back to some personal work and I'm getting excited about turning some of my pieces into physical sculptures at some point, reason why I am back to working on this one. I am still resolving the forms and trying to find rhythm from different angles, but still not there. The horns were reshaped, but the details are just sketched at the moment. The face is still almost completely symmetrical at this point. You should see more updates in the coming days, so please stay tuned. The intention is to have it available as a resin kit but also, perhaps, a life size version. Who knows?
For the first time ever I’m going to get one of my pieces milled!
The Faun will be carved in black walnut and I just can’t wait to see it!
Just wondering how much detail can be translated, but just happy to be able to see and touch it eventually.

Enough but not overwhelming detail. Main shapes are more important.
Portraits are cool, but original concepts freely realized are where things are!
