Nux 34 Chevy Fury Road 1/8

Working on a model for Wonderfest, 1:8 Nux Car from Fury Road. Using a modified 32 Ford and turning it into a 34 Chevy. Had to chop channel and stretch the body. Still need to remove all of the contour lines and finish the chop and rear window. Boxed the frame and found an independent front suspension from a 1:8 Corvette. The Rear tires are 4" tall and the fronts are 3" tall.

instead of using styrene I just used bondo to fill them in...

Finally under its own weight, front and rear end installed, rake looks good. A few shots for scale, it's a big model...

Started smoothing the body, finally have the body sitting on the frame at the correct rake. About ready to start adding the body lines back and I smoothed the firewall. Motor is about a half inch to far forward, will fix that as I go.....

Worked on the collector for the side pipes, have it ready to mold. Needed to turn the 32' Ford grill into a 35' Chevy grill. After it was finished I noticed it was to narrow at the top so I added a spacer for the correct width and will bondo it in. 

Time to start knocking out some major details, wish my parts would get here soon.

Not getting this finished for Wonderfest, but I'll be bringing it along for giggles.
