로보캅 사이드쇼 SIDESHOW - Robocop

This is a collection of images concerning the RoboCop sculpt done for Sideshow/Fred Barton. This particular sculpt will be scanned for the proposed statue in Detroit. 

 

However, whether I get any credit it will still be an honor. Really, the original suit designer, Rob Bottin, should get the highest accolade. All I attempted to do is recreate his stunning creation as well as I was able. though I did manage to include my own flair when able to clean up some of the rougher edges of the original suit.

Everyone who knows me knows my penchant for RoboCop. This is partially a tribute to the film that started me on the path I am currently on. From time spent as a teen exhaustively watching my vhs copy to oblivion (actually burned two out) to the ultimate goal of working with Phil Tippett (he is responsible for the stunning ED209 sequences), RoboCop has remained a constant and unwavering source of wonder and inspiration.
