겔플링 Gelfling
Rian is a young soldier serving in the Skeksis' Castle of The Crystal, who learns of the Skeksis plot to use the Dark Crystal against the Gelflings.
A friend of Rian's, who helps him escape the Castle of The Crystal, presumably to warn the Gelfling Maudras.
Gurjin's twin sister, Naia leaves her home to find her brother and Rian.
Gelfling society is divided into seven clans, each led by a Maudra. The All-Maudra speaks for the seven clans in Gelfling negotiations with the Castle of The Crystal.
스켁시스 Skeksis
Aughra is a godlike being, who embodies the planet of Thra and lived before the age of the Skeksis. She is an astronomer, who reads time and space from her mountaintop observatory, which appears in trailers for Age of Resistance. Jen (Stephen Garlick) visits her orrery in The Dark Crystal. She is the harbinger of the Conjunction-an alignment of Thra's suns, which interacts with the Dark Crystal. While there is no one on Thra quite like Aughra, most of the other characters belong to two primary factions, aligning themselves with either the peaceful Gelflings or the rapacious Skeksis.
